Shortly after Prime Minister Olmert announced he had been diagnosed with prostate cancer, Israeli lawmakers from the entire political spectrum praised Olmert for his courage and wished him a speedy recovery. Hamas however declared that the cancer claims were no more that a political ploy to save face because of Olmert's failure to release soldier Gilad Schalit and combat the Palestinian terror.10/30/07
