Israel will release 250 Palestinian prisoners affiliated with the Fatah next month as a goodwill gesture to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in honor of honor of the Moslem holiday of Eid al-Adha. The pending prisoner release is part of Israel's effort to encourage the moderate Palestinian forces and prove that such gestures can only be reached by taking the road of peace. 11/18/08
