An advisor to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on US President-elect Barack Obama to replace George W. Bush's war-mongering approach with a pacifist stance and base US foreign policy on friendship, justice and human cooperation. The Iranian official also told the US government that it needs to drastically reduce its expenses because of a worsened economic situation, and therefore said the US should immediately withdraw its forces from the Middle East to help in that regard. 11/06/08
