Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish, died on Saturday aged 67 in Houston Texas after undergoing heart surgery. Palestinian television interrupted its programs to broadcased footage of Darwish. Many described his death as a great loss to the Palestinian people and the Palestinian cause. Darwish also enjoyed a large following in the Arab world. 08/10/08
