Israeli rhythmic gymnast Neta Rivkin, 20, won a historic medal for Israel at the 2011 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Montpellier France, receiving the bronze medal in the hoop individual final with 28 points. In addition to the bronze medal, Rivkin ranked seventh in the ball final gaining 27.3 points. Rivkin is the first Israeli gymnast to receive a medal at the championships. There are no words to describe what I am feeling now, Rivkin said after the medal ceremony. Minister of Culture and Sport Limor Livnat congratulated Rivkin on her win describing her accomplishment is huge.
