Charter flights to Turkey canceled

Political tensions between Israel and Turkey have also affected tourism, with Israeli tour operators canceling flights to Turkish resorts because of a lack in bookings. Tour operators said the planned to cancel charter flights to Turkey because of the tense situation since Turkey expelled Israeli diplomats earlier this month and downgraded ties with Israel. A number of Israeli customers who booked flights have canceled them because of the fallout. Antalya was considered to be one of the most popular venues for Israelis who flocked to the Turkish resorts for years. Commercial flights between Israel and Turkey are still operating.
