Ramadan Internet Quiz proves popular

An online Internet quiz run by Jerusalem's Municipality on the Ramadan fast has proved a popular attraction among Israel's Arab sector as well as Palestinians and Arabs abroad. Officials said some 800 people have participated in the quiz compared to 363 last year. According to organizers of the contest at the city's Arabic Cultural Department, Israeli Arabs from Nazareth and Umm al-Fahm, Palestinians from West Bank cities such as Nablus and Arabs from Jordan are all vying in the contest which offers an NIS 18,000 first prize. The quiz contains 30 questions with a new one added every day and focuses on Ramadan and Muslim history. The questions vary in levels of difficulty.
