Infolive.tv - Israel News - Police suspect arsonists caused a large forest fire in Jerusalem that threatened to engulf the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum on Sunday afternoon. By Sunday evening firefighters had the blaze under control after it burned 150 dunams in the Jerusalem Forest. Visitors at the Holocaust museum were evacuated and residents in nearby neighborhoods asked to remain in their homes and close windows when the fire first erupted Sunday afternoon. The fire almost reached the neighborhoods of Har Nof and Beit Vegan and the Pi Glilot oil refinery located close by. Firefighters from all over the country were deployed as well as planes that sprayed water in an effort to douse the flames and create a buffer between the neighborhoods and the fire. Five people were treated for smoke inhalation ambulance officials said. On Monday police and Fire Brigade officials began their investigation.
