Iranian nuclear scientist Sharam Amiri, who according to Iran was abducted by US agents and Saudi intelligence agencies in June, 2009 is on his way back home. Amiri was kidnapped during a religious pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia and was brought to the US for interrogation. Claimed to be forced by torture, Amiri got to uncover details of Iranian nuclear secrets. Amiri asserted that Iran accelerated its Uranium enrichment program in order to create an atomic bomb as soon as possible. He also allegedly gave names of Iranian companies who are involved in the nuclear process and gave specific locations of secret nuclear facilities.
