Anti-Turkish Demands Apology

Hundreds of Lebanese of Armenian descent protested on Wednesday, November 25th against Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's visit. The protesters demanded an apology from turkey for the 1915 genocide against the Armenians. Police clashed with the protesters, causing injuries to some of them, while they shouted anti-Turkish slogans and tried to tear up hanged pictures of the Turkish leader. Erdogan arrived for a visit in Beirut for two days which included meetings with top officials on strengthening trade and strategic relations.
