New clear evidence links Hezbollah to the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, according to Canadian broadcasting corp. and the Washington post on Sunday evening, November 21st. A report which was assembled by UN independent investigation squad shows findings that are based on an elaborate examination of Lebanese phone records. They suggest that Hezbollah men communicated with the owners of cell phones allegedly used to coordinate the explosion that terminated Hariri and 22 others in Beirut in 2005. These not so surprising revelations boost the speculations that UN Special Hearing for Lebanon will prosecute members of the Hezbolla by the end of December. The UN may find this report as pointing a finger towards negligence in their investigation, since such finding should have been already inspected years ago. yet there is a possibility that these phone record links are not strong enough to stand up as evidence in court.
