Guinness World Records now has a new and very Jewish achievement to mark down in their book. The world's biggest Kneydl (Yiddish for Matzah ball) was Kosherly unveiled last week at Arizona's 3rd annual Jewish Food Festival. This gargantuan soup dumpling weighs approximately 488 pounds and contains 1,784 eggs plus 25 pounds of chicken fat. The ingredients used for the soup included 80 pounds of onions, 30 pounds of carrots and (vegetarians among you please cover your ears for this one)- 320 chickens- All we can say is - Oy Vei! This particular Kneydl took the crown from the last biggest Matzah ball which was cooked up last year at the same festival and weighed 352 pounds.
