Deadly Thai fireworks explosion

At least four people were killed and 74 injured when a fireworks display exploded during a Lunar New Year celebration in central Thailand, officials said on Wednesday (January 25).
Local television captured the moment of the explosion which happened on Tuesday night (January 24).
This caused a fire to break out, which spread into community areas in Supan Buri province, 100 kilometers (62 miles) north of Bangkok.
Thai media said at least 20 houses were totally destroyed.
The government said each household will be compensated around 20,000-30,000 baht (690-950 US dollars), depending on the extent of the damage.
Thai officials said investigations into the cause of the explosion are ongoing.
