Prime Minister Ehud Olmert confirmed on Wednesday that the government was preparing an economic aid package to help the economy cope with the global economic crisis. The Prime Minister along with the Finance Minister and the Bank of Israel governor, is working on a plan of action which would serve as a platform to add economic measures should they become necessary. Despite the financial crisis gripping the world Olmert said the Israeli economy is in one of the best states it has ever been in. 11/13/08
