Israeli officials said on Sunday that the economic pressure exerted by Israel on the Gaza Strip is continuously growing weaker, as Palestinians in Gaza are freely smuggling goods into the Gaza Strip through tunnels located under the Philadelphi route. Gaza residents are now pumping over 150,000 liters of fuel a day into the Gaza strip from Egypt, compared to the 120,000 liters received from Israel. Accordingly the Hamas government has said that it no longer plans to continue buying diesel fuel from Israel. 11/09/08
