The Latrun trappist monastery overlooks the road to Jerusalem and is located 15 kilometers west of Jerusalem and 14 kilometers southeast of Ramla. The Trappist or Cistercian monks who live in the monastery spend their days in study and prayers, and also work the olive groves, vegetable gardens and make wine. 07/24/08
