Lebanon laid out a red carpet on Wednesday for the return of the four Hizbullah fighters captured during the Second Lebanon War and Samir Kuntar, the Lebanese terrorist jailed in 1979 after murdering four Israeli civilians including a child. The Lebanese government declared Wednesday a national holiday and both the Lebanese Prime Minister and the Lebanese President are scheduled to attend the ceremony celebrating the prisoners return. Israeli spokesperson Mark Regev condemned the celebrations saying that "Samir Kantar is a brutal murderer of children and anybody celebrating him as a hero is trampling on basic human decency." 07/16/08
