In honor of Israel's 60th birthday, KKL-JNF offered the citizens of Israel a magnificent birthday present. The gift is Park Adulam, an beautiful, unihabited area south of Jerusalem, which once served as a large Jewish population center during the ancient Kingdom of Israel. While the park no longer serves as a major population center, its historic connection to the Jewish people has not been forgotten. On the 60th anniversary of Israel, KKL-JNF's gift of Park Adulam is not only a beautiful gift to the people of Israel, it is also symbol of the continuation of thousands of years of Jewish connection to the land of Israel.
