Grad Missiles Hit Ashkelon and Western Negev, Residents Dema

Palestinians fired seven Grad missiles at Ashkelon on Saturday, wounding five people. Over 40 Kassam rockets were fired at the western Negev, the majority falling in and around Sderot. Three people were wounded when a missile struck Ashkelon's marina on Saturday afternoon and in the morning two children were lightly wounded when a missile struck an apartment building. Another missile fell in the youth village Kfar Silver north of Ashkelon. In Sderot meanwhile a number of residents were treated for shock after two Kassam rockets hit a residential area in the town causing a gas leak. Since Wednesday, the army said over 200 rockets and missiles have been fired at southern Israel.03/01/08
