Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Russia will assist Iran to build the nuclear reactor at Bushehr. Participating at the summit of the five Caspian Sea countries, there was a unanimous agreement among all, to restrict their air space and prevent it being used by foreign powers to launch attacks in the region. The move effectively prevents the United States from taking advantage of Azerbaijan in the event a decision is taken to launch an air strike on the Iranian Republic.10/17/07
