Despite Syrian declarations that it has no intention of waging a war against Israel, tensions remain high in Israel's northern border. In recent days Airforce jets were dispatched four times to the north after radars detected unidentified aircraft flying close to Israel's border. The jets returned to base safely after it was determine that the aircraft had no hostile intent.09/30/07
