UN Secretary General Ban ki Moon lashed out at Israel's cabinet decision to declare Gaza a hostile entity and impose sanctions on the Palestinian people, callingit a violation of international law.Meanwhile in preparation for the upcoming summit in Washington, US Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice arrived in the region in an effort to push the process forwards. Rice and Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni held a press conference in Jerusalem on Wednesday where they discussed the issues at hand. Action against Iran must have teeth, Rice said adding that the US prefers the diplomatic channel but is keeping all options open.09/20/07.
