At a Jerusalem symposium, Palestinian Information Minister, Dr. Riad al Malki, and Former Director General of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Dr. Alon Liel, spoke of the Israeli choice between advancing on the Syrian track in an attempt to reach peace and remove Damascus from the Iranian camp and speeding up negotiations with the Palestinian Authority despite the violent military takeover of the Gaza Strip by Hamas. 08/26/08
