The cabinet approved the release of 250 Palestinian prisoners as a goodwill gesture to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas. A final list of names has yet to be formulated by a special Justice Ministry committee that includes officialls from the security establishment. It remains to be seen whether the prisoner release will bring about the release of soldier Gilad Schalit or whether the terror attacks will continue and Schalit will remain in captivity.07/08/07
