Italian rescue workers lifted an injured crew member off the stricken cruise ship Costa Concordia by helicopter and flew him to hospital, rescue officials said on Sunday.
The rescuers reached Manrico Gianpetroni, a chief purser, after hearing his screams.
He suffered a broken leg.
With more than 4,000 people on board, the Costa Concordia capsized off Italy's west coast after hitting a rock and running aground near the island of Giglio late on Friday.
