Another incident of self-immolation has shaken Tibet. It follows close on the heels of two other burnings last Friday.
This marks the 15th since last March. At least nine have died.
According to a report by Radio Free Asia, police were forced to hand over the remains of the 42-year-old monk to a crowd of hundreds of angry Tibetans. They paraded his remains through the street of Dari County in Qinghai Province.
The monk was a senior spiritual leader, also called 'a Living Buddha.' China's state-run media has blamed the Dalai Lama for the self-immolation.
