http://nma.tv/ British police have reopened their investigations into the alleged hacking of cellphone voicemail accounts of prominent people by News of the World journalists. The allegations first came to light in 2005 when Prince William alerted his aides that people may be eavesdropping on his voicemails. A trial saw the newspaper's royal editor and a PI jailed and police declared the case closed. Editor Andy Coulson, who denied knowledge of the hacking, resigned. But as more alleged victims came forward, the "rogue reporter" theory was debunked. Questions about the integrity of the police investigation have also been raised. News International chief Rupert Murdoch is now in London to sort out the mess. NOTW Assistant Editor Ian Edmondson was suspended, then fired after being implicated. How far up the ladder does this wiretapping scandal go?
