http://nma.tv | http://www.nma.com.tw Two Canadian fighter jets escorted a Cathay Pacific flight bound for Vancouver after someone phoned in a bomb threat. A pair CF-18 Hornets were scrambled on Saturday May 15 to escort Flight 838, which originated in Hong Kong. The flight landed safely in Vancouver and was thoroughly searched in a remote area of the airport. Reports said the bomb threat was phoned in from a Vancouver pay phone and may have been a prank.
