I always love to mix things up. In this very modern clean line kitchen, we have a commercial looking cooktop. I think that is really cool, to be able to mix it up together with this outrageously fabulous hood. You would not even know it is a hood. It looks like a stainless steel shelf but what makes this so fantastic is it is not cookie-cutter. It was thought about, it was made personal. That is what I want you to do. Make it your own.
One of the great ways to mix material is to use one material on the countertops like this Brazilian marble, and then on the island, using the stainless steel, again the connecting factor throughout the kitchen. It cleans really well and it looks super cool. Rules do not apply. Mix metals, mix finishes, have fun, make it yours and think out of the box.
