British singer George Michael was discharged from a Vienna hospital on Thursday (December 22) after weeks of treatment for severe pneumonia, according to Austrian media.
One report, citing unidentified hospital staff, said the 48-year-old walked to a waiting limousine which took him to the airport.
Michael's publicist refused to confirm the story, saying, "Nothing has been confirmed to us -- and we don't know when he will be released... it could be in the coming weeks".
Asked if reports were wrong, the spokeswoman declined to comment further.
Michael has had to postpone a series of concerts
He was admitted to hospital in Vienna in November.
