Shen Yun Performing Arts held its second show in Ottawa, Canada, on Tuesday evening.
[Jack MacLaren, Member of Provincial Parliament]:
"The costumes are beautiful. The dancing is impressive. And the story that is mixed in with it is fascinating."
[Susan Choufi , Financial Services]:
"I can't describe it. I'm in heaven."
One audience member saw Shen Yun four times last year. This year he is planning to see it five.
[Robert Ikkus, Audience Member]:
"Everyone is struggling for an understanding of why we are here. The lady that first sung spoke to my heart."
[Angela Smith, Former Federal Government Officer]:
"The years of civilization, going through all the years. It was absolutely fascinating."
[Steve Gabellini, Musician]:
"I liked the baritone. He had a very powerful voice, it was very compelling."
Marianne Wilkinson enjoyed the animated digital backdrops.

"The way they are using the screen and the special effects, are quite outstanding."

"Everything was this time right. Everybody did their dancing and everything. And you didn't have to visualize. Everything was done there for you."
[Sonia Hill, Accountant]:
"The synchronization of the dancers, the fact that when they jumped they were all at the same height. It was phenomenal, the strength that they must have in the legs to do so."
Shen Yun is performing in Ottawa through to Friday night.
