While around two million people who were displaced during Sudan's long civil war have returned home, many are more are expected to make the journey in the months leading up to and following a referendum in January 2011. With essential services like schools already overstretched, much more needs to be done to prepare for the returnees. Christian Aid is working with partners to improve education across southern Sudan and build a more secure future for the next generation.
