To determine the right size turkey to buy, plan on 1 to 1 ½ pounds per person. Check out our turkey calculator at turkeyfarmersofcanada.ca/preparation. For example, if you are expecting a group of 10, purchase a turkey that weighs between 10 and 15 pounds, which is 4.5 to 6.8 kg
