http://www.nma.tv President Barack Obama has asked Iran to return a stealth drone Tehran says it shot down over its territory two weeks ago. The US says "technical problems" caused the RQ-170 Sentinel stealth drone to go down. The RQ-170 Sentinel is used for surveillance and intelligence gathering. "We have asked for it back. We will see how the Iranians respond," Obama said at a news conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al-Maliki, adding he would not elaborate further "on intelligence matters that are classified." Iran, of course, has refused to return the drone. "No one returns the symbol of aggression to the party that sought secret and vital intelligence related to the national security of a country," Iranian Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Lt. Commander Gen. Hossein Salami said, according to Iran's Fars News Agency. Iranian television reports say Tehran plans to reverse engineer the drone and use the technology to "replicate the captured US-built stealth aircraft in the future."
