Variable speed dekatron spinner using a 0A5 gas trigger to step the dekatron directly. No intermediate amplifier. In fact, the 0A5 pulse is to big, and is attenuated (google it) before hooking up to the dekatron's guide pins. This trigger generates pulses greater than 400V, with instantaneous current exceeding 5 amps ! Though, only for a couple of microseconds.
