A mourning ceremony in northern Burundi for two foreign aid workers killed by gunmen.
The Croatian nun and Italian doctor were working at a psychiatric clinic.
Gunmen broke into the compound and forced the Croatian nun to give them money, before shooting her dead.
They then kidnapped the Italian doctor and made him drive them away, later killing him.
(SOUNDBITE) (Kirundi) BURUNDIAN NUN, SISTER ELIZABETH HATEGEKIMANA, SAYING:
"The problem started moments after we finished our dinner and went to watch television. A few minutes later we lost our electricity connection and as we were trying to figure out what the problem was, we realised all our neighbours had electricity."
Although the landlocked African country has been plagued by insecurity this year, the killings on Sunday night were the first to target foreign aid workers since 2007.
At a news conference the Burundi Army Chief said those behind the killings had been arrested and were helping police with their investigations.
