Waxing vs. Threading - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. There are a few pros and cons to waxing. I would say the pros of waxing will be, you can save time and money. When I say save time and money, meaning you can go every 4 to 6 weeks getting your brows waxed. The cons of that would be, you are actually removing layers of skin off your skin from getting your eyebrows waxed. And also if you have sensitive skin it can cause you some redness and pinkness going on, and it also can cause some irritation to your skin. There are pros and cons to threading as well. As far as threading, you have little to no contact with threading, meaning, they are not taking as much off. They are only going to the precise line of giving you that defined line of eyebrow arching, if you will. Also it is relatively inexpensive, it can save you money also. The cons of that would be also if you have sensitive skin it can cause a little redness or pinkness to it but it only lasts till the end of that day. Far as waxing goes it can last for days or weeks. But with threading, like I say, it is little to no contact at all.
