Police in riot gear face off with anti-nuclear protesters in a northern German town.
They are angry that 150 tonnes of highly radioactive nuclear waste from France is being transported to a facility in Germany.
Officers used water canon at one point to break up the crowds.
This is the latest scuffle over the controversial waste disposal.
Demonstrators also faced off in France to protest the use of nuclear power.
The train, heading to the Lower Saxony state, is carrying the last of 12 shipments of treated nuclear waste between the two countries.
