How to Reduce Clutter in Bathroom - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. Some tips that I have for organizing your bathroom really stem from the medicine cabinet. When you are going through your medicine cabinet you want to make sure that the items in here are for everyday use. These should be things that you are using on an every day basis. The other things can be stored away in your cabinets, maybe even in another shelving unit outside of the bathroom. But this is stuff that you are using every day so you want it very accessible. Right here I have these clear containers, which are great because you are able to keep things sanitary as well as you can see when things need to be restocked. They are great for Q-tips, great for little cotton swabs, things like that. You can find these, again, at one of your local stores in the organization area. The other thing you want to do is make sure that the shelves are being used according to the height of the items that you have in your medicine cabinet. So if you have a lot of tall things, then those should go on one of the shelves so you can adjust them so you are not losing some of that vertical space. Over here I have magnets that I had cut. So this is just sheets of magnets that you can get at your local office supply store, and they are just double-sided taped to the back of the medicine cabinet. So, for women out there who have all those bobby pins and hair ties and things like that that just sort of float around and get lost, this is a great idea for that. They literally are just magnetic and your bobby pins will just attach right to the back of the medicine cabinet. As well as, you can use these stickable hooks, and those are great for hair ties, toothbrushes; that way, again, you can keep your counter top clear.
