Some sources state this a Reser alias, although it is rather unlikely. This recording doesn't sound like a typical Reser recording at all. The only fact known for sure is that at some point of his career, this bandleader performed at the Yoeng's Restaurant in New York. Whoever is playing, this 1928 record is fabulous! The vocal is by Theo Alban, another musician of whom no biographical data could by found.
