Another miner is brought safely to the surface following a deadly accident in China's central Henan province.
According to state television, a rock burst on Thursday at the state-owned coal mine, killed four miners and trapped 57.
With the successful rescue of these five miners - bringing the total saved so far to seven - hopes are high that the remaining 50 still trapped underground can also be freed.
The rock burst - a sudden, violent ejection of rocks - took place moments after a 2.9 magnitude earthquake shook the area.
Fourteen miners managed to escape the rock fall.
China's mines are the deadliest in the world, with nearly 2,500 accident-related deaths in 2010.
