Funeral for Iraq bomb blast policeman

Gunshots in the air mark the funeral of a policeman killed in Thursday's deadly double bomb blasts in Iraq.
Dozens of relatives and colleagues took part in the funeral procession in Baghdad's Sadr City.
17 others were killed and nearly 40 wounded when the two roadside bombs exploded one after the other on a busy commercial street in the mainly Shi'ite Ur district, near Sadr City.
The blasts follow a series of attacks in the Iraqi capital in recent days, many aimed at security forces.
Though violence has fallen sharply in recent years, there are fears that militant groups could ramp up attacks as U.S. forces prepare to pull out of Iraq at the end of the year.
