Bloomberg reports that a US congressional commission believes Chinese military hackers infiltrated two US government satellites. The commission says it was done from a ground station in Norway.
The satellites are used to track the earth's climate and terrain. The US-China Economic and Security Review says the attacks took place in 2007 and 2008, and is set to release the full report next month.
The draft report doesn't go into detail as to what the goal of the hacking ultimately was.
