Conrad Murray's defense continued calling witnesses on Thursday (October 26) in his trial for involuntary manslaughter. Addiction expert Dr. Robert Waldman took the stand, but - in what could be a blow to the defense - said that based on court documents, he believes Michael Jackson was dependent on Demerol - but not necessarily addicted. The defense is hoping to prove that Jackson was suffering from Demerol withdrawal and could have self-administered a fatal dose of propofol so he could sleep.
Lindsay Lohan's father was arrested for the second time this week. Just hours after being released from a Florida jail on domestic violence charges, Lohan was picked up again on Thursday (October 27) after reportedly making harassing phone calls to the woman he's accused of abusing. Before his most recent arrest, Lohan jumped from a third floor window in an attempt to avoid the police.
Adele's "21" has regained the top spot on the Billboard Top 200 album chart, marking her 13th week at number one. That makes it the first album since the "Titanic" film soundtrack to claim as many weeks atop the chart. It is the biggest selling album of 2011 so far, with more than 4 million copies sold.
Finally, "Evita" is headed back to Broadway. The revival, which stars Ricky Martin as Che, will begin previews on March 12 with the opening set for April 05. It's the first time the show will hit The Great White Way since it first debuted more than 30 years ago.
