Deadly Afghan tanker blast

The remnants of a fuel tanker in Parwan, Afghanistan, after it was engulfed in flames following a bomb blast.
At least 10 Afghans were killed and 35 wounded in the explosion.
Provincial authorities said a small bomb punctured a hole in the side of the tanker, which then caught fire.
Nearby vehicles were destroyed by the force of the blast.
One witness described the scene of the explosion.
(SOUNDBITE) (Dari) AFGHAN TAXI DRIVER SHIR MOHAMMAD:
"I was driving my taxi, then suddenly the fuel tanker caught fire, and I saw people burning and running away."
A spokesman for the provincial governor blamed the attack on insurgents.
The Taliban could not be reached for comment.
