Thousands of Libyans gather in Martyrs Square in Tripoli to celebrate the liberation of Libya on Sunday evening.
The mood is festive, with young men and women dancing and chanting as fireworks burst overhead.
"Libya is free" and "hold your head high -- you are Libyan" rank among the most popular chants repeated by thousands taking part in celebrations on the evening after the country's interim rulers declared liberation.
