On Tuesday the retired Russian Space Capsule Soyuz-TMA was hoisted aboard the U.S. Intrepid in New York City for future public display. The spacecraft was primary docked at the International Space Station and carried out educational and experimental missions. Soyuz-TMA 16 was also the first spacecraft designed for tourist passengers. Among past space tourists was Guy Laliberté, CEO of Cirque du Soleil. Soyuz-TMA 16 will be officially open to the public on November 14th in the Museum aboard the U.S. Intrepid.
