Patients are rushed to a field hospital in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a.
Dozens of people were brought here after security forces opened fire on protesters demanding the ouster of long-time President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
Witnesses and medics say at least seven people died in the violence, and dozens were injured.
It was the most recent in a string of deadly confrontations in Sana'a.
The crackdown came as Saleh faces increasing pressure to step down after 33-years in power.
Thousands took to the streets in the capital over the weekend.
In a separate incident, government forces fought a pitched battle against gunman loyal to a power tribal leader - Sadeq al-Ahmar - who also wants Saleh gone.
