Discover Brazil at the 2011 Houston Brazilian Festival dedicated to exploring and celebrating the art, history, life and culture of Brazil. This family festival event is proud to have the support of the Consulate General of Brasil in Houston. The event is also supported and funded in part by grants from the City of Houston through the Houston Arts Alliance. Additional support provided by HoustonPress, CHAFT TV and others. Every September the Brazilian Arts Foundation organizes and hosts the Houston Brazilian Festival in Downtown Houston. The event coincides with the celebration of Brazil's Independence Day. With live music, performances, food and more, this event draws more than 2,000 attendees each year, bringing visitors from around the world. The Houston Brazilian Festival provides people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of Brazil.
