Ex-Beatles band member Sir Paul McCartney wed U.S. businesswoman Nancy Shevell on Sunday (October 9) in a low-key affair.
The couple were showered with flower petals as fans waved and cheered on the newlyweds as they descended the steps of the Westminster Registry Office, in northwest London.
Other high-profile guests attending the ceremony included former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and his wife and the model and actress Barbara Bach.
It is the third marriage for McCartney.
